The new origami symbols

I used origami symbols for depicting the folding instructions for the planes. The conventional origami symbols are bland, black and white and full of dots and dashes. So  I made my own origami symbols incorporating many vibrant colors. Hope you'll like them:

(green)-“valley”: Indicates a valley fold.

(orange)-“mountain”: Indicates a mountain fold.

(grey)-“crease”: Indicates a crease on the paper. These will be represented only where necessary.

(black)-“edge”: Indicates a paper edge.

(dotted black)-“X-ray” Indicates a paper edge that is hidden by the top layer(s). This is sometimes referred to as ‘X-ray vision’.

(dotted green)-“hidden-valley”: Indicates a valley fold on a layer below the top layer which is the one visible in the diagram.

(dotted orange)- “hidden-mountain”: Indicates a mountain fold on a layer below the top layer which is the one visible in the diagram.

(blue)- “unfold-line”: These lines will be on paper edges already folded. The line indicates that the fold must be undone. Let me call this the ‘unfold line’.

(pink)-“reverse”: Occurring only on paper edges, this indicates that the fold should be reversed. That is, a valley should become a mountain fold or vice versa.

All the other symbols I have used are well known origami symbols. Follow this link for a revision of those symbols.

A note on my diagrams
I have represented the diagrams with one side of the paper being colored so that they are easier to follow and also more aesthetic.

As far as possible, all the diagrams are drawn to a scale relative to the sheet initially taken. The size of the paper to be taken is clearly specified in the first diagram of the model.

I hope u liked my colored origami symbols and diagrams. I would appreciate your feedback.

If you are familiar with origami, I'm sure all these symbols are Child's play. Then you can proceed to the plane list and start folding the planes.
