Sabre-ravi

Notes on flying the Sabre-ravi
  1. The Sabre-ravi can be flown just like the 'conventional sabretooth'.
  2. To get a good gliding flight, throw it absolutely straight with slight thrust only .
  3. It flies well if thrown up at an angle of 45 degrees.
  4. One can also try throwing it underarm, vertically upwards just like the world record paper airplane.
  5. The uniqueness of sabre-planes is that they can fly even in windy conditions. Throw the plane into the wind for best results.
  6. The Sabre-ravi is a champion plane and could win you competitions.

Additional notes:

bulletThis is a fantastic plane. It looks similar to the 'conventional sabretooth' but the folding procedure is entirely different.
bulletThe Sabre-ravi is folded using a letter size paper. If you have an A4 paper cut short the length by one inch and then follow the folding instructions.
bulletStart folding using a paper that is colored on one side. Then you will get the visual difference between the Sabre-ravi and the 'conventional sabretooth'.
bullet The 'conventional sabretooth', if you observe has loose flaps on the top which is not good. Because, for any paper airplane it is the top surface that is the important aerodynamic surface.
bulletThe Sabre-ravi has no such loose flaps and is therefore more efficient.
bulletThe Sabre-ravi also has a centre of gravity that is located more to the front than the 'conventional sabretooth'.
